This fruit basket was prepared for our Co-pastor, Heriberto Muñoz and his wife, Nilda on October 28, 2012 in celebration of our 27th year Church Anniversary.  We honored this wonderful couple during our evangelistic service.  Evangelist Angel Baez from Florida joined us during this time.  What a beautiful service!

Have been mesmerized at God's creation ... the beautiful colors of the leaves on the trees within the city, the freeways, the suburbs, our backyards, WOW !!!  Red, orange, yellow, even some green yet!  Breathtaking!!  God bless us, God bless America !

Shelves are full of goodies.  Ready for basket orders.  With the holidays upon the horizon, I have been preparing.   Shopping, shopping, and then, shopping some more.  Buying healthy munchies, more baskets, books, etc.  Ready for the busy holidays.  Orders pending for Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.  God is good!  God is faithful!  To God be the glory!

October 11, 2012 - My son "John's 32nd birthday" basket.  Hope he eats all the goodies I packed for him.  All washed and ready to consume.   Birthday blessings to you, sweetie .... Love ya, Mom !  

Had lunch with immediate family.  Tomorrow we will have a "birthday dinner."  Lord Willing!

October 8, 2012, visited a VNA Hospice cancer patient.  Loving couple.  Lord laid patient and his wife heavy in my heart so I decided to prepare a beautiful basket for them.  Wife was really surprised and very appreciative.  To God be the glory.   Also met a friend of the wife that was visiting from out-of-town.  She was so happy to see her friend excited about the basket that she placed an order for her for Thanksgiving.   The visit was well worth it.  Please keep this couple in your prayers.

Migdalia's 54th Birthday Basket

September 20, 2012 - Today is my cousin, Migdalia McKenzie's, 54th birthday.  Lord allowed me to prepare her a basket with a lot of goodies.  Goodies she can really enjoy while watching t.v. or spending some quiet time by herself. 

Basket business is picking up.  Have some pending orders for the next couple of months.  With Sweetest Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, and all those other commerialized holidays, I expect to be very busy.  Praise God.  Looking forward to it.

I have completed my 100th basket/gift bag since the inception of my ministry, which was March, 2011.  To God be the glory !!!

This has brought me great joy and has kept me busy running from store to store, looking for basket fillers.   

Basket prices vary depending on the size and items purchased.  Starting at a low price of $20.00 for a smaller basket.  

We aim to please all of our customers, from the simplest to the elaborate!!!

DeservingOneMinistries is up and running.  To date, close to 90 fruit baskets and bags have been prepared for families and friends Lord has laid in my heart.   Just to see the smiles on their faces is enough to make your day.  Praise God!

In addition to this ministry, I have also started selling fruit baskets. 10% of the proceeds will go towards charity.   Baskets can be purchased for different occasions.  Males, females, birthdays, showers, holidays, etc.  These baskets will be filled with fruits, canned goods, healthy munchies, reading materials, and other items.  They will be prepared according to your request.    Pricing will be determined upon basket size, enclosed items, special orders and delivery (if needed).

What a wonderful prayer service at church tonight (Tuesday).  God is truly doing some awesome things with His people. Heartwarming testimonies.  WOW !!!!  To God be the glory!

Talking about testimonies ..... Let me share this one with you.  Went to the gym this morning.  I felt a tugging in my heart to go to the store afterwards to buy some fruits for a fruit basket.  The Lord put someone dear in my heart, however, I thought about it and decided I will wait for a later date.  Went home, prepared breakfast, then sat in front of the computer for email and facebook updates.  I could not believe my eyes.  When going through facebook, I came across the same person God had put in my heart.  This sister wrote "she always speaks positive via the media, however, today she just feels like crying.  Oh God, help me, she said" !!  Wow, that was like a stab in the heart, a slap in the face.  See how God works !!!!  I ended up at the store, buying fruits and other items, came home, prepared a beautiful basket for my sister and after our prayer meeting,  was able to deliver the basket. Sister was surprised and happy to see me at her door.  Her great big smile made my day!  To God be the glory!  Another "deserving one" ........... Keep her in prayer, she has been sick with an upper respiratory conditon.  God bless!

God bless you, my blogger family!  Keep me in prayer.  This ministry has been on my mind all day.  New ideas, talking to different people with positive conversations, but most of all, thanking God for it all.  Lord placed this ministry in my heart, and I am running with it.  Every piece that goes into the basket/bag, whether it's food items, a book, a card or any thing else, is prayed for.  Serious prayers goes into the preparation process.  I ask the Lord to bless the receiver, the "Deserving One", in one form or another.
